Neurosurgery department HMC started in 1997. initially it was located in casualty comprising of only 4 beds and one OT. Currently Neuro Surgery unit comprising of 21 beds and 11 beds in the head injury unit.

A separate Neuro surgery unit is under construction which will consist of Neuro Surgery ward, Head Injury unit, ICU and separate Neurosurgery OT.

NEUROSURGERY: SERVICES 

Neurosurgery unit has weekly two days for OPD (Tuesday & Friday) and tow days for OT( Wednesday & Saturday). We are providing daily emergency cover. Daily rounds are conducted by the professor, Associate Professor, Consultant etc.
