Brief Introduction:

Medical “B” unit is part of the department of medicine, which is an attached department of  Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar and caters for its under graduate students as well. The unit is proud of its strong educational mission, training the next generation’s doctors and health care leaders through rigorous residency and fellowship programs.

Services / Procedures:

This unit provides a comprehensive program of clinical services. In addition to offering our patients a wide array of services, we are engaged in cutting edge Biomedical research to help better understand and treat a range of health conditions, advances science and improves care. The unit has a heavy hectic twice a week out patient service along with continuous, round the clock In-patient care. The ward has dedicated emergency teams headed by no less than a trainee registrar,under close supervision  by a senior Registrar, to cater for the emergency medical needs of patients on designated days.
